Polyominoes with Collinear Cells

Have fun creating square square and hexagonal hexagon polyominoes
However, there is a restriction! You can not go over the collinearity limit.

This is the maximum number of cell centres that are allowed to be collinear on any line in the plane.

By default the collinearity limit = 3, but you can change it to whatever you like between 1 and 5.

Instruction Manual

Every great polyomino journey starts with a first cell...

Click on the empty bordering cells shaded green to expand your polyomino.

See how far you can get before the collinearity limit stops you going any further.

Cells shaded red are off limits and selecting them will show you why.

As well the undo undo button you can tap existing cells to remove them.
However, some cells are not removable as breaking the polyomino into 2 is not allowed.
Attempts to remove them are rejected with a flash of red.

square hexagon Toggle between square and hexagonal polyominoes contexts.
